sporting wales issue two

Everyone has noticed Welsh sport this year. Whether it has been Joe Calzaghe proving himself the best British boxer of the modern era, the Wales rugby Grand Slam, Cardiff City in the FA Cup Final, Swansea winning League One, the Ospreys winning the Anglo-Welsh Cup, Welsh sport has been hogging the headlines.

David Davies

butch james

Nicola Cooke

First appearances can be very deceptive. Certainly many people would not have Jason Gillespie, he of the erstwhile long hair and intimidating goatee, down as someone who is an aficionado of wine and has just had an Australian Shiraz named after him.
